Spring Garden

An original unique embroidery made with dyed felted fibres, free machine stitching in viscose, cotton and metallic threads. Also layered organza, other felted fibres and assorted fabrics.

I made this piece in spring/summer 2024. The bright colours the grasses, and sky, are so vivid after all the gloom of winter and shine in the sunlight. Lifting mood and hearts, I have tried to capture the essence of renewal in this piece.
