Trees at Dawn

An original unique embroidery of trees with light behind them. Embroidered with free machine stitching and layered organza, and other assorted fabrics.
 

This piece is inspired by the view from our kitchen window. The most wonderful dawn sun comes over the hill, shining through the bare hawthorn trees in winter. The same trees also look wonderful when the moon shines brightly behind them. Trees have always insipred me, and continue to inspire me every time I see them.

We are high up here, on the West Pennine Moors, with wonderful views in every direction.
