Elspeth Thomson is just me, Elspeth, an embroiderer from Lancashire.

I would like to assure you that I take your data privacy seriously and I will not share, sell, rent or trade any of your information with any other person or business. If you would like to find out further details about my privacy policy, please read on….

Type of data I collect.

In order to make contact with my customers and to arrange commissions or make sales I collect the following data -

· Your name and contact details: postal address, billing address, telephone numbers and email addresses.

· Purchases and orders made by you are recorded. Photographs are stored for use in my sold and commissioned artwork embroideries.

Google Analytics

When someone visits www.elspeththomson.co.uk I use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. To be honest it’s not a page I visit very often, but when I do I find out things such as the number of visitors to different parts of my site. Please be assured though that this information does not identify anyone and I do not make, or allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting my website.

Access to your personal information.

Any data I collect when you contact me with an enquiry or place an order is stored safely within my computer which is password protected. Any data I collect will be held for a maximum of 6 months unless you tell me you would like your data to be retained for longer or removed from my system.

I will not do anything with your data without your consent.

You are entitled to view, amend or delete any of the personal information I hold.
