This embroidery was created without a particular subject in mind. Rather than depicting a landscape or responding to an image, it became a quiet exploration of thoughts, colour and texture.

Working instinctively with layers of purple, lilac and indigo, I allowed shapes, stitched lines and small geometric forms to emerge naturally across the surface. The composition developed like a visual doodle, expressing ideas and feelings that were never intended to become words.

Although abstract, the piece reflects my continuing fascination with rhythm, light and the relationships between colour and texture. For me, embroidery can become another language—one that sometimes says more than words ever could.
